Frequently Asked Questions

What is the RRB-120 High Density Eurocard?
The RRB-120 is a double‑height, extended, double‑sided Eurocard (6U) measuring 233.4 × 220 mm, featuring three copper planes (signal, power, and ground) for high‑density prototyping applications.

What wiring formats and connectors does it support?
It includes DIN 41612 connector mounting holes at both front and rear (32/64/96‑way) and is compatible with the Roadrunner Wiring System, wire wrap, or general‑purpose discrete wiring.

What is the hole matrix and plane configuration?
The board uses a 2.54 × 2.54 mm hole matrix with 1.02 mm drillings. The component side has a ground plane (‘GND’), while the wiring side features two power rails (‘VCC’ and ‘GND’) plus an internal signal plane.

What materials and protective finish are used?
Constructed from FR4 epoxy glass (1.6 mm thick) with a 35 µm (1 oz/ft²) copper thickness, the board is coated with organic solderability preservatives (OSP) for anti‑tarnish protection and is RoHS compliant.

Can I reference grid coordinates for component placement?
Yes, the board includes a grid reference marking to simplify component indexing and alignment, and it is compatible with DIN 41494 card frames for seamless integration into rack systems.
