Frequently Asked Questions

What are the key features of the RRW-G-105 green wire?
ā–¶
The RRW-G-105 is a 0.19 mm diameter insulated copper wire with a bright green enamel coating, perfect for color-coding and clear visual distinction in wiring projects.

How many bobbins are included and how much wire does each contain?
ā–¶
Each pack includes 4 refill bobbins, each with approximately 20 m of 0.19 mm dia. wire, providing ample length for multiple prototyping runs.

What soldering temperature is recommended to remove the enamel?
ā–¶
Use a soldering iron set between 400–430 °C (Weller bit code 8 or 9) to effectively burn off the self-fluxing polyurethane enamel and solder the wire.

In what situations is green insulated wire most useful?
ā–¶
Green wire is ideal for marking ground lines or specific signal paths, enhancing circuit clarity and preventing wiring errors in complex assemblies.

What are the temperature ratings and compliance standards?
ā–¶
The insulation is rated for continuous use up to +120 °C and conforms to IEC 60317-0-1 standards for solderable enamelled polyurethane wire.
